Scott is an industry veteran with over two decades experience in foodservice. His successful early career in sales management with leading companies like Tyson and McCain foods ultimately led him to acquire the assets of a Carolina-based agency. Scott, along with two business partners, expanded the agency’s geography through acquisition and organic growth to include seven southeastern states, becoming the largest foodservice rep agency in the southeast. Accurately predicting the industry’s eventual regional consolidation, Scott joined forces with eight other regional agencies and Advantage Sales & Marketing in 2012 to create Waypoint, the first national foodservice rep agency in the U.S. Since Waypoint’s creation, Scott has served as the President of the Southeast Division, the Senior Vice President of Client Development and Acquisitions, and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of the newly-created Commercial Solutions Division, leading all aspects of this high-growth industry segment. Waypoint has continued to outpace its competition and is now the nation’s largest foodservice agency.
Scott is married to his wife of 23 years, Alexandra, and the proud father of three children.
